December 2018: On the eve of the 2019 Geneva Haute Horlogerie, Swiss luxury watch brand Audemars Piguet launched three new Royal Oak Offshore Self-winding Chronographs featuring a new contemporary dial with 18K rose gold and fine Two models of steel. The new watch will be officially launched at the Geneva International Haute Horlogerie Exhibition (SIHH) in January 2019.

The blue and green ceramic models feature a steel case, and Audemars Piguet applies brown ceramics to the watch for the first time, with a 18-carat pink gold case that contrasts with the bezel. Ceramics are harder than stainless steel, can withstand high temperatures and thermal shocks, have excellent scratch resistance and are durable. Color ceramics require a complex research process and elaborate production techniques to perfectly display the right color.
